Litsea Cubeba: also known as May Chang, is a small tropical tree with fragrant, lemongrass-scented leaves and flowers. The small fruits that it produces are similar to peppers, from which the name 'cubeba' is derived. In traditional Chinese medicine Litsea Cubeba is used to treat dysmenorrhoea (that is relieved with heat or pressure), stomach aches, lower back pain, chills, headaches and muscular aches from external conditions.
