Meadowsweet Herbal Oil

Meadowsweet contains salicylates. These are aspirin-like substances used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, for example in arthritic conditions. Its activity can be enhanced if combined with Devil's Claw oil to create a blend specifically for arthritic conditions. Such a blend added to Fragrant Earth Gel Base, perhaps with a suitable essential oil, makes a very useful non-greasy joint rub.
